Enough of this "rushing out" bullshit!
Enough of this bullshit! I didn’t think it was a bad thing for BMG to ask fans what kinds of thing they’d like to see on Britney’s next album. Democracy, right? If Beyonce asked her stans for an opinion, they’d be delighted and proud to have been asked. But Britney’s fans......? Let’s just say a lot of them have been reacting with their usual mixture of juvenile gracelessness and sneery cynicism. Why Did Britney Run Away From Her Career In 2004?
What Makes Britney Britney?
Written by Karen
April 16, 2007
In a little feature in “More” magazine in late summer 2004, Virgil Fabian, an old friend of Britney’s, now a NY TV director, said “This period of her life, where she’s running away from her schedule and just cutting loose, has been a long time coming.” But how did things come to the point where she just wanted to run away from her career? Let’s look back.

Is Britney Ever Really Coming Back?
What Makes Britney Britney?
Written by Karen
April 9, 2007
One night in the fall of 2004, I got into a fight with my boyfriend, comforted myself with a tab of acid and wandered off into the woods where I spent a confused and confusing night trying to find the meaning of life. But what I found was Britney Spears, or a hallucination that looked very much like her, and we sat down right there on the grass and talked about her future. It seemed to make perfect sense at the time, but when I got home and told my boyfriend all about it he looked kinda shocked. It may have been because I was wild-eyed, naked, grass-stained and babbling incoherently but I like to reassure myself that it was because of the message from Britney. A Marriage Made in Hell?
What Makes Britney Britney?
Written by Karen
March 11, 2007
For almost two years, there wasn't a week that passed that the tabloids didn't print yet another story about the imminent break-up of Britney Spears’ marriage to Kevin Federline. Hardly anyone ever seemed to believe in the stability of their relationship or its prospects of enduring for longer than a few months at best. It’s almost as if critics and fans alike sensed that this was a marriage made in hell not Heaven and that it contained the seeds of its own destruction from the very beginning.
